A little history on Joshua James

On this day 108 years ago, Captain Joshua James, United States Lifesaving Service and Station Keeper of Point Allerton (Hull, Mass.) Lifeboat Station, died at the age of 75 after conducting boat drills with his crew in heavy seas. He devoted more than 60 years of his life to saving hundreds of mariners in distress.
