Members who arrived on 9/8/2009 will form at India 182.

Please send letters of encouragement to:

The company commanders for India 182 are MK1 Wagner, BM1 Kruger, and MK2 Vanover.

Graduation is scheduled for 10/30/2009.

Got to read your 2nd week company journal. Sounds like ya'll are coming together as a company. Lots of hard work and focus will just continue to help ya'll grow together. Update on fishing tournament we are currently in 4th place weighing in 20.48 pounds of fish today. The leaders have 20.73 pounds. It was rainy windy and cold and we had to fish hard. I caught 2 of the 3 reds we turned in and both of the trout. I missed a 3rd trout by inches of getting it to the boat. Am hoping we have a note from you when we get home. Love you and miss you

I have made the reservations at the hotel for us. I reserved a suite with a kitchen so we can cook some food if you want. It looks like a little apartment. I can't wait to see you. I hope you will like where we are gonna stay. We are staying in a place that will take us back in time. The Starlux Boutique Hotel and Meeting Center. I think it will be nice, and the price was right too. We will be able to go out to eat at a place called Jumbo's, they serve pizza; burgers, and seafood. All in Jumbo
portions. I know that is right up your alley.

RECRUIT JOURNALS

Journals are posted to USCGBOOTCAMP by close of business every Tuesday. The first journal for each company is posted in week three of training.

If a journal entry is not posted, it means one of two things, the company is in week one or two of training or the Web master did not receive a submission.

The journals were created to provide family and friends with a peek into the lives of their recruits. The recruit historians try to document the experiences of the company not individual recruits.

We hope you enjoy reading the journals and experiencing Coast Guard Recruit Training through the eyes of our Guardians in the making.
