Rob,

I know you will not see this for several weeks, but I want the you to know and the world to know too that we are all very proud of you for hanging in there and giving it your all. I know how easy it would have been to hang it up and go home, but that is not in your system or DNA, Hang in there, only 32 days left as I write this.

Hello Hotel 183 families! My son graduated with Whiskey 182 in March. The best thing for me and many others was the facebook page. Please join the facebook page for Hotel 183 families and friends. Go to Facebook.com and earch USCG Hotel 183. If you don't have a facebook page you will have to start one but it's very easy. Share pics, stories, concerns and excitement through the weeks while your recruits are in bootcamp and you will become a close family ready to meet, hug and laugh when graduation time arrives.

Family and friends of Hotel 183 recruits - There is a facebook page for Hotel 183 where you can post pics and "meet" others who have recruits in Cape May. Type USCG Hotel 183 in the search line and it will take you to it. There is also a USCG Family, Spouses and friends page that has alot of information. Good luck!!

Hey, family and friends of Hotel 183 recruits, I found some pictures on Face book of our recruits at boot camp. It is hard to confirm who some are in the pictures unless you are fortunate enough to actually be able to read the last name of the recruit on their shirt. Go to facebook and search USCG Hotel 183. It is great to see them, some parents of the graduating 'guardians' took the pictures while on base and posted them. Thank you to all who posted pictures! It helps us at home get a glimpse of our loved one at boot camp.

To all recruits of HOTEL 183,
You will overcome fears and do things now you never thought possible during your time at bootcamp. Appreciate the opportunities given to you and give it your all everyday! BMC Ruchser is one of the greatest people you will ever have the privilege of meeting! Believe me when i say it was an honor to have him as my LCC. As long as you give 100 percent he will never give up on you! You wont believe me now but i will tell you anyway, You will miss Bootcamp! My best piece of advice is to learn to work as a team, if you do that you will be just fine. And for the yoeman, i know your probably incredibly tired right now but keep pushing through and know that it is an honor to be chosen by Chief Rux to do any "special" job. Make him proud!!!

Synergism - \'sin-er-jis-em\

I know Hotel 183 is coming together in a strong manner. It only gets better. Can't wait for Graduation!

Rob,

We're almost there baby, as I type this it's 2 weeks and 4 days left to go and you ~know~ I'm counting them down. I know how much you worried and fretted about which decision would be best for all of us long term and I am so very, very proud of you for doing what ~you~ wanted to, long term, instead of what was short term easier. You are now and always my Guardian and I love you dearly. You and your determination make me smile at being loved by such an absolutely hard headed man. Come home soon, you're missed, wanted and needed.

SR's - The dates on a tombstone represent the date of birth followed by the last day on this earth. What matters most of all is "THE DASH" between those years.
Your Dash represents all the time you spend on this earth. What do you want your others to say about YOUR dash? Did you wear a smile? Did you treat others with respect? Did you try your hardest?
When your life's actions are rehashed, would you be proud of your dash? SR's make the most of your careers and your life! Countdown is on!
