RECRUIT JOURNALS
Journals are posted to USCGBOOTCAMP by close of business every Tuesday. The first journal for each company is posted in week three of training.
If a journal entry is not posted, it means one of two things, the company is in week one or two of training or the Web master did not receive a submission.
The journals were created to provide family and friends with a peek into the lives of their recruits. The recruit historians try to document the experiences of the company not individual recruits.
We hope you enjoy reading the journals and experiencing Coast Guard Recruit Training through the eyes of our Guardians in the making.

S.R. Hunt -- We saw you today on a video (and pics) from Facebook!!! You look great!!! We are so proud!! The whole Company looked fantastic! Keep up the good work Zulu 183!!! Can't wait to see more!!! All your hardwork will pay off! Thank you to all for being our future Guardians! Can't wait to see you all in person! zulu family and friends im a whiskey 183 mom, try not to freek out after reading the journal and the first letter home is hard on you too, it gets better love and prayers to all remember to check facebook pages because parents will take pics of everyone so nebey coasties will be shown too

Hi everyone! My daughter Annie was just placed into Zulu 183. She was previously in Victor 183 and was injured 4 weeks ago (stress fracture of the hip). We are so happy she is back with a Company - has been a long journey for us! We have been fortunate to have been able to speak with her on the phone on the weekends while she's been in the hospital, so get ready to hear their voices - YOU WILL ALL CRY! lol Roni
SR Lopez del Castillo - everything and everyone is doing great. I can't wait to see you at graduation. My travel plans are done. Gloria found pictures on you and you look great. I can't wait to hear your voice expecting your call this week. Remember I love you and keep in step. Mommy.
