Greetings from Hotel 181

Hotel Company 181 is wrapping up their forming week. We are beginning to learn what being a true Coast Guard member means. We move a bit slow, however, today we learned how important it is to pick up the pace. We are learning to become a team and are learning the tricks to marching tall and bullet proof. We are a proud company of 80 members and are prepared to meet the challenges ahead of us. This is Hotel Company 181 signing off. Please send us letters.

Letter to Captain Thomas

Dear Captain CB Thomas,

Thank you for your thoughtful letter and thank you for serving in the Coast Guard. I am thrilled
that my son Jim Stobie chose the Coast Guard and was accepted.

If you get a chance to meet him, he's a bright guy with good morals and a fine sense of humor.

I pray all will work out well and that God's presence will be felt by all at Cape May.

I felt so good to get a chaplain's letter (Miles J. Barett) and that you have a spiritual emphasis.
