RECRUIT JOURNALS
Journals are posted to USCGBOOTCAMP by close of business every Tuesday. The first journal for each company is posted in week three of training.
If a journal entry is not posted, it means one of two things, the company is in week one or two of training or the Web master did not receive a submission.
The journals were created to provide family and friends with a peek into the lives of their recruits. The recruit historians try to document the experiences of the company not individual recruits.
We hope you enjoy reading the journals and experiencing Coast Guard Recruit Training through the eyes of our Guardians in the making.

Does anyone know what day Delta 181 will have on base liberty this week? (Unless it was revoked) My husband told me when he called but I can't remember! Saturday?

If you don't mind me asking...how did you know about India 181's swim test/ Has anything been posted yet?
India 181, in reply to Suzie QZ: From what I understand, in the March 25 Hotel 181 journal entry their recruits mentions swim tests. Our recruits are just one week behind so they are have taken or are about to take swim tests. Also if you ck out the entries for C181, I181 is mentioned on 3-25 blog on Thurs/Fri. I181 moves into their old dorms.
Cermom~ Tks for the info. I was afraid that's all you had. I also saw the mention of India coming into Charlie 181's barracks and the confusion etc. I could instantly see the whole scene. Thanks again and hang in there..we should hear something today I think. Hopefully

I181 friends and families I am a mother of C181 Guardian who graduated last Friday. The journals will be posted on Tuesday around mid afternoon. They also post pictures. Beleive me the journals give me peace of mind and kept me imformed of their progress. I wish I181 all the best and God speed.
