Hi Danny H

Been thinking of you today. Wondering about how Memorial Day was like for you at Cape May. Saw pictures on the web site of the ceromonies, it looks so nice. Were you and the rest of R 181 part of it?

Grand-dad and l went for a walk along Oceanside Harbor. The girls stayed home this weekend, so it was peaceful haha.

We will be sending a letter off to you in the week.

Stay alert, keep going and support each other.

Love and miss you,

Hi There Romeo 181 -
Fantastic journal news from last week. I almost felt like I was there with you experiencing all of the emotions that you must have had. The pictures that were posted today are awesome! Can't wait to hear about your post boot camp station assignments & hopefully you will all get well soon from the dreaded Cape May Crud. All of your family & friends are thinking about you, praying for you and wishing each one of you only the best. You're team Romeo-181 now! You can be extremely proud of everything that you have accomplished and all that you will soon acheive in these final weeks together.

I can hardly wait to see you all at graduation and especially to watch my first-born child Daniel enter the world of the United States Coast Guard as a new Guardian. Your entire family and all of your friends are sooo proud of you Daniel. Keep up the great work, stay strong and know that we are thinking about you all of the time. I am in awe of what you are doing so keep your head and your spirits high and we will be seeing you very soon.

All of my love, Mom

P.S. Another letter went out today.

Hey families! Just a FYI ... your recruit can not read this blog.
It is meant as a tool for families to interact with each other who have recruits in the same week of training.
