RECRUIT JOURNALS
Journals are posted to USCGBOOTCAMP by close of business every Tuesday. The first journal for each company is posted in week three of training.
If a journal entry is not posted, it means one of two things, the company is in week one or two of training or the Web master did not receive a submission.
The journals were created to provide family and friends with a peek into the lives of their recruits. The recruit historians try to document the experiences of the company not individual recruits.
We hope you enjoy reading the journals and experiencing Coast Guard Recruit Training through the eyes of our Guardians in the making.

Wow .... how time flies when you're having fun. I love it when we hear what you have been up to in the news letters. Becca is looking forward to her call this week.
We finished the fence and got the tin on the new addition to the barn. Today we used cultivator in the garden and mowed. Then it rained all afternoon. We have been watching the French Open Tennis matches every day and tomorrow is finals so we'll be glued to the set.
I've talked to B. almost every day. She has been busy doing things and getting organized. We have been writing letters too.
Well, hang in there. I know you have learned a lot and give your all. Only a few more weeks. I am anxious to see you. Hope you are getting your rest. I heard about your teeth. OOPS!

SR Richard Herceg,
Way to go! 18 days to left. Youve worked so hard for it and we are all so proud of you. Ive been apt. shopping, but the number you gave me isnt a working number so i still havent made any contact with Coast Guard personnel in the area. Padilla is going to call me later with some information. Its hard to make a decision without you. Im trying to wait till saturday. Everything is so complicated. But nonetheless I am so happy for you and all the progress you've made. Your almost finished and I am as proud as can be. I love you very much. Ill be seeing you soon!!!
love,
Katrina

There's a big dolphin out there with your name on it, so hurry up and get the job done. It's Monday night and we miss you. Love, Glenda and Bruce
