Well here we are another week closer to grad. As all other parents and family I am vary proud of Sierra 181 and all they have been through. They seem to improve with each passing week. I just cant help but wonder WHEN we will get some pics. of them it seems odd that the other comps. post them, are they still there? I have seen on other blogs that others were wondering the same thing. If it is a matter of not having a camra I will send one. Not counting the 7 minutes of phone calls this is our ONLY way of knowing what is going on and I am sure that all others would like to see something. So if you can find time PLEASE post some pictures.

Get over it man, they ARE in bootcamp, not summer camp.

WOW "GioCoastieVannie"...I thought that this was a highly respectful branch of the military services!!! I hope that this is not how our son/daughters are being taught to address individuals while he/she is there!
Yes, this is boot camp. But I think you are missing the whole reason for why this blog was set up in the first place.
For all the other parents of recruit I just want you to know that GioCoatieVannie has disrespected your recruit by insinuating that they are in summer camp and not in boot camp because they have had their pictures posted on the blog.
So Congratulations Sierra 181...you are apparently the only company at boot camp right now while all the other companies are at summer camp.
Very disappointed in the way you have just represented the USCG!!! Being a former Coastie myself!!!

I am a very PROUD of my SON and the entire Sierra 181 Company!!! It seems with the Journal Posting this week you are all working as one , and that is very exciting !!KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK YOUR DOING !!! Graduation is approaching fast and that's AWESOME !!! Since 5/19/2009 my SON has been at Cape May and I too have been waiting patiently for a picture. I am aware that they are at "Boot Camp" but, every other Company at Cape May does have pictures ! As parents we are all very PROUD of our Sons/Daughters and what they are doing there at Cape May and yes , we are checking this blog daily/weekly to see if maybe we might see a picture of our GUARDIAN !!!! It's a parent thing ....
