RECRUIT JOURNALS

Chad, TGIF what a day I had, but nothing compared to yours I'm sure. The weather here was so hot here this week. I was talking with a customer today at work,they were from that area and advised me the weather wasn't so hot there as it is here on the gulf coast.I have all faith that you are doing fine. Again, I want you to know how proud I am to be your mother and that your desire is to be in the USCG. You are always on my mind, and in my thoughts. Stay focused and may God be with you always.

It was raining again today, but had enough time to go for a ride and go fishing before the rain came in. Brindon didn't catch any fish with his pole so he wanted to use grandpas. Still didn't catch one.

We just received your form letter with the address. I placed it on your facebook website for everyone to write also. Everything is fine at home, hot as hell! I have the current temperatures for Cape May bookmarked on my Ipod, looks like great weather. My uniform and medals are almost ready. I wish I had not thrown most items away a few years back. The shoes are $90.00 new.
Remember, this is but a small bump in your road of life and a great opportunity to better your physical being. You will navigate this with flying colors. Many well wishes were discussed about you at the bucket last week. All of the BW's wish you a quick 8 weeks, and subsequent 21st bd. This is nothing for you to conquer. Give me a great reason to wear my uniform to your graduation. Keep your mind on course and we will see you July 31st.
I pick up my phone to call you all the time and then remember I cannot. Habit! Debbi thought she could talk to you at night via your cell phone, until I informed her that we may not hear from you for a while....
